Paradigm Poll: 5% of U.S. Voters Consider Themselves Single-Issue Crypto Voters
On October 31, 2024, a public opinion poll conducted by venture capital firm Paradigm showed that 5% of American voters consider themselves to be single-issue cryptocurrency voters, and 20% of respondents said they currently hold or have purchased cryptocurrency.
Paradigm pointed out that the 5% of voters who support cryptocurrency as a single issue are more than twice as many in swing states such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, where election results are decided by a narrow margin of 1-2%.
The poll also found that 30% of respondents now believe that the Republican Party is more trustworthy in terms of cryptocurrency policy, while 24% believe the Democratic Party is more trustworthy. However, 42% of cryptocurrency voters said they do not trust either side when it comes to cryptocurrency regulation.
