FAQ
1. What information do I need to process my EUR deposit after creating an order?
After creating a deposit order, you’ll need to transfer EUR using a bank app. The following payee account information will be displayed on the Bitget app: "Account name," "IBAN," "SWIFT/BIC," "Bank country," "Bank name," and "Bank address."
2. Can I transfer from any EU bank account?
Yes, you can transfer from any SEPA-supported bank account in the EEA and UK regions.
Note: Avoid using any cross-border transfer methods, as refunds are not possible.
3. In case of issues with my transfer, how long will it take to be refunded?
The refund timeframe will depend on your local bank.
4. Can I transfer directly without placing an order on Bitget.com?
No, your deposit will not be successful if you do not place an order on Bitget.com first.
5. What happens if I accidentally transfer an amount different from the ordered amount?
Your deposits will not be successful if the transfer amount does not match the order on Bitget.com
6. How long will it take for EUR deposits to arrive in my account?
If you submit a deposit after 5:00 PM (local time), you can expect it to arrive within the next 1–3 working days. SEPA Standard payments do not work on weekends, so do avoid weekends or holidays when making a deposit.
7. What should I consider before making a EUR transfer?
-
Ensure that the name on the bank account matches the name registered on your Bitget account.
-
Avoid transferring funds from a joint account. If you make your payment from a joint account, the bank will likely reject the transfer. This is because there is more than one name on the account, and that name does not match the one on your Bitget account.
-
Bank transfers through SWIFT are not accepted.
-
SEPA Standard payments do not work on weekends, so do avoid weekends or bank holidays. It usually takes 1–2 working days to reach us.
8. What are the EUR deposit/withdrawal limits?
The deposit and withdrawal limits of EUR bank transfers are subject to identity verification tiering. You can submit an EDD to upgrade your account limits:
https://www.bitget.com/fiat/deposit?from=email.
9. Where can I check my EUR and BRL order history?
To check your order history, go to
https://www.bitget.com/fiat/deposit.
10. Why haven't I received my EUR transfer yet?
Two possible reasons for the delay:
a) Due to compliance requirements, a small number of transfers are reviewed manually, which could take anywhere from a few hours to one working day.
b) If you use SWIFT as the transfer method, your funds may be returned.
Currently, SEPA only supports personal accounts.
11. Is it possible to make a SWIFT transfer for EUR?
Yes, but it may be rejected and could incur additional fees of around 10 USD. Because of this, we do not advise you to make SWIFT transfers.
12. How to qualify for SEPA identity verification?
Please note the specific requirements for identtiy verification are subject to SEPA's policy. Only passports/IDs issued by countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) are accepted. Temporary visas, vote cards, driver's licenses, and residence permits are not accepted for identity verification.
13. What are the refund processing fees?
Bitget applies refund processing fees that vary based on the deposit type and currency used for the refund.
