The company plans to use the new financing to expand its business team and operations. OpenOrigins was established in 2021 and uses blockchain technology to verify the authenticity of photos, videos, and other digital content to combat false media. The related information will be recorded on the Hyperledger blockchain and has partnered with UK media production company ITN.
