Kenya’s Nairobi Stock Exchange Joins Hedera Governing Council to Accelerate Tokenization Initiatives
Kenya’s main stock exchange, the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), has joined the Hedera Governing Council to accelerate tokenization initiatives using the Hedera network. By joining Hedera, the Kenyan exchange becomes the 32nd member of the group that governs the network. As a member of the council, NSE will run a node and have equal voting rights in governing Hedera’s software and services. Other notable members of the Hedera Governing Council include tech giants Google and IBM, and telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom.
