Over Protocol Opens Airdrop Queries, Will Distribute Airdrops After Mainnet Launch
On October 30, Over Protocol, the L1 blockchain lightweight node protocol, announced details of its airdrop distribution and opened up airdrop queries, which will be distributed after the launch of the mainnet (expected to be between the end of this year and the beginning of next year.) Over Protocol has allocated 15 percent of the total supply of tokens to the Community Access Program (OCAP), of which 54.5 million OVER Over Protocol has allocated 15% of the total token supply to the Community Access Program (OCAP), of which 54.5 million OVER tokens (5.45%) are dedicated to the airdrop program, with the remainder of the tokens being used to support marketing, liquidity provisioning, grant programs, and ecosystem funds. Airdrop amounts are based on scores from OverWallet tasks and testnet participation. Users can currently view their airdrop allocations in the Airdrop Checker within the OverFlex app (currently OverWallet).
Of these, 30 million were distributed to OverWallet users (3% of total supply) with 418,215 active participants; 10 million were distributed to OverNode users with 52,607 active participants; 10 million were distributed to Nethers NFT holders (3,945); 10 million were distributed to OKX Cryptopedia Q16 participants (469,869); and a total of 1 million to participants who completed the Sybil detection task on HashKey Global.
Over Protocol says the airdrop program is based on three key criteria: honesty, diligence, and score, and verifies honesty through two rounds of Sybil testing to prevent multiple accounts and bots. Diligent Contributors who cannot be fully evaluated through the Sybil test will be given an additional verification opportunity through a Google form.
