Zhou Zilie, Director of New Direction Innovation Technology Policy Research in Hong Kong, recently published an article stating that the Lausanne International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland has released the "2024 World Talent Ranking". Hong Kong's ranking has jumped to ninth place. In the current diversified talent introduction plan, the Hong Kong government can continue to strengthen the promotion and coverage of the "Technology Talent Admission Scheme", moderately consider expanding the scope of beneficiary industries, covering more emerging technology fields such as quantum computing, blockchain and green technology.
