Singapore Terrorism Threat Assessment Report: Terrorist Organizations Still Prefer Cash Rather Than Cryptocurrency
Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Internal Security Department (ISD) released the "2024 Singapore Terrorism Threat Assessment Report," which pointed out that due to global instability, the threat of terrorism to the country has intensified, and various Islamic terrorist organizations are increasingly using cryptocurrency to raise funds for terrorist activities. However, although the use of cryptocurrency is increasing, the main means of financial transactions for the Islamic State and its affiliated institutions is still cash.
