U.S. Ether ETF Coming Soon, Fees Not Yet Announced

Bitget2024/07/10 16:29

Spot Ether ETFs are reportedly expected to launch soon in the U.S., but details of the fees they will charge investors are still missing from multiple proposals. These fees will likely be outlined in final registration statements or S-1s, which will be filed after the Securities and Exchange Commission indicates it is ready to allow them to begin trading. While price is often an important fund characteristic in the competitive ETF space, being the cheapest doesn't guarantee winning the asset race in any category. Franklin Templeton announced in May that its Spot Ether ETF had a projected fee of 0.19%. VanEck's similar product has a projected fee of 0.20%. Invesco and Galaxy Digital said in a Monday filing that they plan to charge 0.25% for their jointly filed ETH funds. Other issuers set to offer Ether ETFs, such as BlackRock, Fidelity and Grayscale, have yet to announce fees for their proposed ETH products.
