Musk: Will spend at least $9 billion to buy 300,000 Nvidia AI chips
Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated earlier today that his AI startup xAI will spend at least $9 billion to purchase 300,000 Nvidia B200AI chips. xAI recently raised $6 billion in funding, with a company valuation of approximately $18 billion. Although the chatbot Grok is currently xAI's only product, the company plans to significantly expand its portfolio of AI-related products by increasing investment in GPU clusters.
