Chess strategy game Anichess completes $1.8 million financing, with Fenbushi Capital and others participating
Anichess, an international chess strategy game supported by Animoca Brands, has completed a $1.8 million financing round. Sfermion and Amber Group led the investment, with participation from Fenbushi Capital, Aspen Digital, SNZ Capital, and others. The new funds will be used to support game development, marketing activities, and team expansion. The game, developed in collaboration with Chess.com and five-time world chess champion Magnus Carlsen, uses PvE gameplay and is expected to launch its second phase with the introduction of PvP gameplay in the late first quarter of 2024.
