TechFlow news, Ordinals founder Casey announced on Twitter that ord version 0.17.0 has been released, including the final implementation of runes.
Major updates in the new version include:
Introduced the hard-coded creation rune UNCOMMON•GOODS.Etchings, supports submission/revelation scheme, and can be paused and resumed through the ord wallet resume command.
ord wallet inscribe now only supports a single inscription, multiple inscriptions and inscribed runes can be used with the ord wallet batch command.
The API now returns the payload type of the inscription, allowing for more minting control and information.
Rune casting can now have a start and end height, as well as limit supply.
The wallet can generate multiple receiving addresses at one time.
It is now possible to navigate directly to inscriptions, runes and output points by ID, as well as search for hashes in the explorer, without the need for a path.
