- The Ethereum mainnet has completed the execution layer upgrade when the block height reached 15537393 on September 15, 06:43 AM (UTC).
- Meanwhile, an ETH forked chain has been generated which preserves the original Proof-of-Work (PoW) mechanism. Bitget will distribute EthereumFair (ETHF), a forked token which is supported in the community and which has a higher PoW hash rate.
- The snapshot time of this distribution is September 15, 06:15 AM (UTC). ETHF forked tokens will then be distributed via airdrop, at a 1:1 ratio, to user accounts within an estimated 10 hours of The Merge. Please log in to your Bitget account and view your assets at the Spot Account page.

Ethereumfair(ETHF), remains PoW and anyone can participate without restrictions. The Ethereum Foundation is moving to PoS fork, we will continue to support the original chain. ETHF is optimized for ETH’s existing mining algorithm and reward upgrade. The reward algorithm is adjusted according to the mining cost. The difficulty is adjusted to 0, which is still the original mining algorithm.
