Russian man charged with treason for sending cryptocurrency to Ukraine
A Russian man has been arrested and faces treason charges for sending cryptocurrency to the Ukrainian armed forces. Video of the arrest released by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) shows agents pinning the man down and detaining him. According to Russian media outlet Kommersant, the cryptocurrencies were allegedly used to “buy weapons, ammunition and military uniforms.”
It is unclear what sentence the unidentified men will face if they are found guilty.
