Edward Gaming (EDG) has emerged as winners of the Valorant Champions 2024, securing a place for themselves in the annals of esports history after their astounding performance during the grand finals against Team Heretics. This victory by the Chinese team solidifies their global reputation as a dominant force in Valorant and an accomplishment for the whole Chinese esports scene.

The best-of-five series finals began with Team Heretics winning map one Haven at 13-6. They opened up with a heavy start, leaving EDG on defense throughout the match.
