SEI Chief Investment Officer: The Fed is unlikely to cut interest rates three times this year
SEI's Chief Investment Officer Jim Smigiel said that the expectation of three interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve this year seems too high. He stated in a report, "We don't expect to see that happen." He said that a 25 basis point rate cut in September seems possible, while further cuts in December are "still on the table."
