Cosmos Hub has completed the integration of the fee market module and will be introduced in Gaia v18

Odaily News Cosmos Hub posted on X that the community had previously voted to introduce a fee market module (Proposal 842) to the Cosmos Hub. The team has now completed the integration, which will provide an adaptive fee market and support ATOM destruction as part of the Gaia v18 version. The new fee market mechanism will only start adjusting fees when block capacity usage exceeds 50%. In short, fees will only increase when block usage exceeds 15 million Gas units.
