Rarimo announces the launch of RariMe app

Rarimo has announced the launch of the application RariMe, which allows users to generate passport zero-knowledge proofs (ZK) to verify their uniqueness without revealing their identity. Unlike Worldcoin, which uses a globe scan of the eye, Rarimo uses a smartphone to scan the passport and verify its user. The identification framework usually has third-party approved credentials, but ZK ensures that no personal data is shared when verifying identity. Kitty Horlick, director of Rarilabs, the provider of Rarimo, said that just as decentralized applications (Dapps) can control certain things through human proof, they can now do the same with citizenship or age proof, and only need to request these proofs.
