Paradigm Releases Reth 1.0
Paradigm has announced the release of Reth 1.0, the first production-ready version of an Ethereum execution client written in Rust. Reth enhances the stability of Ethereum, improves synchronization time, storage, and RPC throughput. Reth can fully synchronize an archival node from genesis within 50 hours, while other clients require several days.
Paradigm states that Reth can effectively utilize resources in various operational settings. Its implementation is inspired by clients such as Geth, Erigon, and Akula. The upcoming Reth 1.1 version will include support for OP Stack. Paradigm is also working to provide support for the Pectra hard fork.
