Augmented World Expo (AWE) Showcases Enterprise-Focused XR Technology and Honors XR Pioneers
The 15th annual Augmented World Expo (AWE) recently took place in Long Beach, CA, with over 500 speakers and 300 exhibitors showcasing their latest XR technology. While the conference focused on mobile AR and Mixed Reality, AI was not a main focus. The exhibit hall featured a variety of demos and announcements, including Spacetop's use of Nreal's XR glasses to provide a monitor-free laptop experience and HaptX Gloves G1™ being available for shipping. The XR Museum displayed over 80 vintage XR devices donated by pioneers, and the Auggie Awards recognized the best in various categories.
