Cyvers CTO questions when CertiK discovered the Kraken vulnerability, saying that CertiK may have done the same test on OKX and Coinbase
On June 20th, Cyvers' Chief Technology Officer Meir Dolev cited content previously shared by security researcher @tayvano on X platform regarding the controversy over security vulnerability reports between Kraken and CertiK. Dolev questioned Certik's claim that the vulnerability was discovered on June 5th, pointing out that the address 0x1d...7ac9 created a contract on the Base network on May 24th and engaged in related activities. Certik's testing address also used the same signature hash as the unknown address. It is suspected that the contract (0x45...CeA9) deployed on Base also conducted the same tests on OKX and Coinbase to determine if these two exchanges have the same vulnerability as Kraken.
