Semler Scientific has announced the purchase of an additional $17 million worth of Bitcoin, bringing their total holdings to 828 BTC worth almost $59 million. The company plans to buy up to $150 million more and views Bitcoin as a compelling investment and reliable store of value. Semler Scientific is following in the footsteps of other companies, such as MicroStrategy, in adopting a strategy of buying Bitcoin for its corporate treasury.
