Norwegian authorities freeze and return $5.7 million in Ronin hack losses
Sky Mavis, the developer behind Axie Infinity, announced that the Norwegian National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime (Økokrim) has successfully frozen and returned the stolen assets of $5.7 million in the Ronin Bridge incident. 15% of the assets will be used to pay for recovery costs and fees, while the remaining 85% will be deposited into the Axie Infinity fund. In addition, approximately $40 million in assets have been frozen and will require time to recover and return.
