As monitored by on-chain analyst Yu Jin, the whale 0x5de...d57 borrowed a total of 19 million USDT from Aave and Compound in the last 33 hours, and then bought 4,952 ETH at an average price of $3,837. The whale holds a considerable amount of ETH, reaching 26,728 (worth $103 million), but a significant portion was bought with leverage: he borrowed $66.35 million in stablecoins from Aave and Compound.
In addition, on April 17, he sold 402,875 UNI at a price of $6.83 ($2.75 million). At that time, UNI plummeted from $11.6 to $5.9 due to the US SEC's notice to Uniswap's Wells. He sold at the market bottom, and now the UNI price has rebounded.
