Report Shows Decrease in DeFi Hacks and Fraud in May

Immunefi's report shows that DeFi protocols experienced a decrease in losses from hacks and frauds in May, with a total of $52.4 million stolen from investors. Ethereum and BNB Chain were the most targeted blockchains, with 9 and 4 incidents respectively. The majority of losses in May were due to the $240 million exploit of Gala Games and SonneFinance being hacked for $20 million, but Gala Games managed to recover ETH worth $22 million from the exploiter.
