CNV President: El Salvador has not only become a global leader in Bitcoin adoption, but also in the wider cryptocurrency industry
The National Securities Commission (CNV) of Argentina's official announcement stated that the commission has held a meeting with the Salvadoran Digital Asset Commission to discuss regulatory issues for cryptocurrencies in both countries. CNV President Roberto Silva stated that El Salvador has not only become a global leader in the adoption of Bitcoin, but has also performed well in the broader cryptocurrency industry. The two sides focused on exchanging relevant issues about El Salvador's Bitcoin practices. At the end of last year, Argentine Foreign Minister Diana Mondino pointed out that the Argentine government is preparing a law that plans to allow the country to use Bitcoin and other tokens for legal payments under special conditions.
