Riot Platforms reports 10% effective ownership of Bitfarms

Riot Platforms, Inc. announced the acquisition of ownership of 3,002,350 common shares of Bitfarms Ltd. on May 28, 2024, accounting for approximately 0.75% of the company's issued and outstanding common shares. The weighted average price was approximately $2.19 per share (approximately CAD 2.99 per share), and the price range for the purchase of shares was $2.14 to $2.23 per share (equivalent to approximately CAD 2.92 to CAD 3.04 according to the exchange rate), with a total amount of $6,572,744.62 (equivalent to approximately CAD 8,963,909.11).

Before the acquisition that led to the release of this press release, Riot actually owned 36,856,350 common shares, accounting for approximately 9.25% of the issued and outstanding common shares. After the completion of the above acquisition, as of the date of this press release, Riot actually owns 39,858,700 common shares, accounting for approximately 10.00% of the issued and outstanding common shares.
