Meme coin protocol ERC7660 passed the pre-examination of Ethereum Foundation
According to official sources, the token protocol ERC7660, proposed by Benchmark Labs for use with memecoins, has passed the Ethereum Foundation's preliminary review. Its feature is to add a passive consensus period that does not depend on external triggers to the token, that is, the token is automatically and linearly released within a predefined consensus period. Benchmark has also released corresponding dashboards, automated deployment, Launchpad, and L0-based cross-chain bridges for ERC7660 assets. It is reported that the first meme token based on the ERC7660 protocol, DICK, is currently undergoing an airdrop.
