Latest Ethereum ACDE Meeting: Discussion on Pectra Upgrade Scope Changes and Timeline
PANews reported on May 25 that Christine Kim, Vice President of Research at Galaxy, shared the main points from the latest Ethereum Core Developers (ACDE) call. Developers discussed and coordinated changes to the Ethereum Execution Layer (EL) during the meeting. The main points of discussion this week included: adding a new feature to the execution API that allows users to access return data from transactions; the minimum priority fee requirement for Geth; Pectra Devnet 0 and 1; changes in the scope and timeline expectations for the Pectra hard fork; Portal Network and historical expiration. Developers agreed to remove EIP 3074 from Pectra Devnet 0 and include EIP 7702 in the next test network for the Pectra upgrade, Pectra Devnet 1.
