Crypto firm VersiFi acquires trading technology startup Ather Digital
VersiFi, a cryptocurrency trading and lending company led by former Genesis executives, has acquired Ather Digital, a cryptocurrency trading technology startup, for an undisclosed amount. This transaction will help VersiFi increase direct market access, algorithmic trading, and smart order routing on its platform. VersiFi will integrate Ather's trading technology into its platform and expand in the United Arab Emirates.
According to RootData, a Web3 asset data platform, VersiFi is a digital asset service platform with a mission to reduce counterparty risk. VersiFi's plug-and-play platform aims to integrate a trusted and regulated ecosystem of exchanges and liquidity providers, provide full-service custodianship and lending for customers, offer regulatory-compliant solutions, simplify the trading life cycle, and reduce counterparty risk of a single company.
