PANews reported on May 22 that the TON ecosystem Launchpad platform TonUP announced on social media that its recently launched staking contract was attacked by hackers, resulting in a loss of $307,264. The claim function of the staking platform is currently suspended. TonUP plans to allocate 107,600 USDT to repurchase UP tokens on-chain to compensate staking users, and the excess UP tokens will be burned.

The TonUP team stated that users' staked assets and rewards will be fully protected. The staking reward claim function is temporarily disabled, and rewards will be airdropped to users after the staking period ends. Users can normally unstake after the staking period ends.
