Grayscale's Latest Ethereum Spot ETF Application Removes Staking Language
PANews reported on May 22, according to The Block, that Grayscale has removed staking-related content from its proposed Ethereum spot ETF application, based on a revised preliminary prospectus. In a previous document, Grayscale had proposed to investors that Ethereum could be staked through the trust fund. However, this wording was absent in the revised preliminary proxy statement submitted by Grayscale on Tuesday. Other issuers, including Fidelity, have taken similar actions. Earlier on Tuesday, Fidelity excluded the possibility of earning staking rewards in its S-1 registration statement.
