Crypto scam BitConnect founder John Bigatton pleads guilty in Australia, faces sentencing on July 5
It was reported that John Bigatton, the founder of the BitConnect cryptocurrency scam involving over $2 billion, has pleaded guilty to criminal charges in Australia. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) investigation received assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the United States. The FBI also participated in the investigation of BitConnect founder Satish Kumbhani, who has been indicted in the Southern District of California. Bigatton will face sentencing on July 5th of this year.
