Hong Kong Police Commissioner Chris Tang said that the police have been communicating with the banking industry, regulatory bodies, the Office of the Communications Authority, and telecommunications companies to strengthen anti-fraud work. Last November, the police cooperated with the "Transfer Express" platform. If citizens use "Transfer Express" to transfer money to an account recorded in the "Anti-Fraud Surveillance System," a warning will be issued. The measures have been implemented for nearly a month and have issued 148,000 warnings, averaging more than 4,000 per day.

Tang also mentioned that, so far, the police have received more than 2,600 reports involving an amount exceeding 1.6 billion yuan and arrested 70 people in the JPEX case. Assets worth more than 200 million yuan have been frozen. However, due to the complexity of the flow of virtual assets, the authorities are closely investigating.
