VanEck Advisors: Bitcoin ETF will require proof of reserves, offer secondary custody option
VanEck advisor Gabor Gurbacs wrote on X platform: "The emergence of Bitcoin is to eliminate the need for trusted third parties, but a Bitcoin ETF will not change this. Many people will continue to prefer to hold their own Bitcoin and verify their holdings. I believe ETFs will need reserve proof and ultimately provide timely auxiliary custody options."
